Teams- Undecided up to players or the team SGT on who decides teams.
Team 1- Blue Team Objective- Attack until taken then hold at all cost until time limit is reached.
Team 2- Red Team Objective- Attack until taken then hold at all cost until time limit is reached.
Team 1 Success- Take or Re-take the HQ and hold until time is reached. Whoever has the HQ by the end of time limit holds victory.
Team 1 Failure- Lost or never took the HQ and let it fall into enemy hands therefore losing the war.
Team 2 Success- Take or Re-take the HQ and hold until time is reached. Whoever has the HQ by the end of time limit holds victory.
Team 2 Failure- Lost or never took the HQ and let it fall into enemy hands therefore losing the war.
Notes- there are unlimited respawns but they are not allowed to be near the HQ. No medics you basically die then spawn. Teams do not have to be the usual mixing them up could make it more interesting.
Tips- Try not to take straight up use stealth, flanking, diversion, suppression, ect. . . Basically whatever works and wins.
Hope this revised version kind of makes things more simple.

Not to rain on your parade but it seems like its more trouble than its worth. I don't disagree that we should include some kind of capture and defend scenario but I don't think it should be time based. I think it'll be too hard in a panicked situation to remember to stop the enemy stopwatch and start your own. I think with a little bit of revision it would work out but as this isn't a video game it doesn't really work out.

I agree with Lightning. This does sound like a fun scenario, but would be too hard to execute. The reason: Video games and computer programs that do what their supposed when their supposed to do it. Not a second early or a second late. Except for the occasional LAG.
How about instead of the team starting and stopping their own stopwatch. Why don't we just get an innocent bystander who doesn't mind getting shot at (accidentally of course) to start and stop the stopwatch. And rather than an hour time limit, we make it 30 minutes, and first team to reach 10 minutes of holding time wins. 600 seconds.

Whoa, whoa. Calm down. I don't think Lightning meant to start something. He was only making a suggestion. A completely harmless suggestion.

I don't like the idea of an innocent time keeper only because I don't want to do it and I know there isn't going to be someone who will always want to do it. Also I'm not saying it will be trouble in a rough situation I just think it'll be easy to forget to do one or the other. I'm not saying to totally throw the idea out I just think that we need do something that isn't based on time but maybe based on something else that not only requires you to hold the base but to also do something else under pressure. I don't know what it could possibly be but it should definitely be tough to do but shouldn't require any tools that a lot of us don't have. Just a suggestion and I'm always open to new ideas.

Good idea, but lets avoid COD4 style things. That is definetly looked down upon by most experienced teams. Second, check spelling when posting a thread. Third.... READ the STICKY on this board, and put this in the right format.

Well fixing it to meet Mustang's requirements is one option. I thought you were going to leave it how it was.

Personally I don't think event format needs to be used for everything, I mean honestly capture the headquarters is pretty straightforward. I think if we had a milsim scenario with different objectives for each team it might be a little different so that it's organized. Also I don't understand how "thee" even makes sense because "thee" is like ye olde english for "you". I did find you tips to be humorous though because you basically said don't just do a frontal assault but to do stealth and basically whatever works but I'm thinking a frontal assault might not actually be a terrible idea in a situation where people are entrenched anyways. its all about whatever its called like fire superiority...I wanna shoot more bb's at you than you do at me.
I still haven't figured out how to do the scoring system but I think something will come up eventually.

Ya I'm leaving the scoring system up to you guys unless I find a good one and I have to put it in the format because Mustang would have locked it if I didn't. And I changed the name too.

No Lightning, the format isn't necessary. But there are a lot of things that aren't necessary, its just to keep everything organized, as well as standardized. Which reminds me I need to fix my oldest scenario I posted.
